Clocking in & out, and taking breaks
Clocking in with ClockNet is a single tap. The big green button on the home screen starts your shift, the live timer begins immediately, and everything is recorded on your device — so it works whether or not you have signal.
Tap once to start, once to take a break, and once to clock out. The timer and your location check are handled for you.
Starting your shift
Open the app when you arrive on site and tap Clock in. If your site uses a geofence, the app confirms you're inside the zone; if face verification is enabled, you'll be asked for a quick selfie check that runs on-device. Once you're in, the timer shows how long you've been on the clock and when your shift started.
Taking a break
Tap Break to pause your shift — for lunch, a rest break, or any unpaid time. The timer switches to a break state so your worked hours stay accurate. Tap again to resume. Breaks are itemised on your timesheet, so there's never any guesswork about paid versus unpaid time.
Switching jobs
Working across more than one project or task in a day? Use Switch to move your running time to a different job without clocking out. ClockNet closes the current segment and opens a new one, so each project gets exactly the hours it should — handy for accurate job costing.
Clocking out
At the end of your shift, tap Out. Your entry is finalised with its start and end times, any breaks, and the location/verification results. If you're offline, it's queued and syncs automatically the next time you're connected — you'll see a “Synced” confirmation once it's safely recorded.
